This series was born out reasearch on the meat processing industry. My early fascination was with its strange classifications and production techniques. But behind these quirks lies a systematic and pervasive design the aim of which is control and efficency. Most impressive is the complete transformation of living, breathing animals into product, a process that ,for the most part, remains hidden.
